Journaling [- writing your feelings down on paper] can be good for the soul. Journaling can help you release emotions in a constructive way and so that your mind and body aren't bottled up with negative emotions. Journaling is also good for memories. It can help you document your life so that you can always remember the moments you want to remember. When I was younger and I got angry at someone, whether it was my mom, a friend or who ever; I would take out a sheet of paper and a pen and go to my room and write that person a letter. I would just write and write whatever I was feeling and whatever I wanted that person to know. And you know what? When I was done, I felt free. I felt like I had emptied my soul of all the negativity that the anger had caused. After I was done writing, I would simply rip the letter up to shreds and throw it away. I was released. So maybe you can try journaling and see if it helps your soul. I pray it will.
